Nimirndhu Nil organsied in Corley School, Tambaram after successful completion of Dreamathon event in the month of Feb’2017

Speakers from various walk of life spoke about the importance of Education and the service done by Karka Kasadara foundation on the event

KKF conducted Sigaram Thodu in Jaigopal Garodia National Higher Secondary School Tambaram on 24th August 2017. Pattimandram titled Manavargalai Nal Vazhi Paduthuvadhu Kaniva Kandippa, under the Leadership of Pulavar M Ramalingam. After several rounds of selection process, 10 students selected for speaking in the Patimandram

Speak started by Nazreen Banu – Valluvar gurukulam school, under the topic Kanivu and Kandippu by Visesha – Corley School

It was like professional speakers in front of video cameras in big Television channels which we get to see often and for sure its no exaggeration. Nazreen banu from Valluvar gurukulam school started it all thunder storming and leading her team to the podium on "Kanivu" whilst so did the leader from "Kandippu" team Visesha from Corley School.. The fire works continued to blast for almost an hour and half with each side consisting of 5 kids speakers aptly displaying their language and literature skill set in front of a well cultured and knowledged audience at Jaigopal Garodia National School.. What came as a blessing was the judge "Pulavar Ramalingam" upping the ante in his style of cracking jokes with his humbled feedback after every speaker completing their speech and this curiosity kept the entire audience in overwhelmed happiness, entertainment and they rightly acknowledged these kids every time with their huge applause.. So much is left to be done for team KKF from now on as we get to go thru so many highly talented and gifted kids.. The urge for giving it back to our society only goes up day by day after every such event.. Truly feeling charged up after "Sigaram Thodu".. Let me thank Dr Ruby Manoharan, CMD - Ruby Group of companies for his continued support, Shri Santhosh Mutha, MD - Growever logistics for coming down from Pune and Pulavar ayya for his valuable time and participation.. Our sincere thanks to all the schools, management, staff and kids for being part of us.. A special one to the respected tamil teachers for their active support in going the extra mile in nurturing these kids beyond our expectations. It would be improper in my part if I don't call out the fact that both our Madam's "Mrs Santhoshi Mangala & Mrs Veda Ramachandran" have done exceedingly well in their planning and execution of the entire event well supported by my dear friends Arun, Chellapan, Guru and Jaikrishnan sir. Dr Kolappa pillai's advise and guidance to team KKF adds more value proposition in we delivering a successful program every time.. Our best wishes to mega TV, dinamalar, The Hindu and other news agencies for their coverage and support..

Friends, Vanakam and Namastey..

Firstly, a big thank you to Thiru Viswanathan Sir, Advisor, Jaigopal Garodia National School and to Tmt Saisudha Mam, Principal, Valluvar Gurukulam School for their word of support and reference in sending deserving students to us for "Nimirndhu Nil" 2018.. We had a new bunch of girls and boys lining up with their parents, guardian, friends, relatives and few kids came along with pre requisite documents for the session.. Self and our treasurer Mam started receiving calls right from the previous day asking for venue, timing etc and most of the kids were there at the venue well in time. This showed their spirit and also the confidence the school management had instilled in team KKF... Session started on time with key address delivered by our Secretary Mam and Advisors on the necessity to conduct such sessions for needy students.

We had invited few dignitaries to deliver special address on topics related to self discipline, right attitude and importance of students role in serving our society and nation. Whilst Soma Sir spoke in self discipline in his usual charismatic style, Dr Kolappa Pillai Sir touched various range of topics of above said. I was particularly thrilled to hear the speaker's insist the need for students to serve society in which ever possible ways and means. Out of the entire lot of kids who attended the Session, there was one Murugan( Name Changed) of 11th std who stood out as a exception guy from the others.. Whilst we were interviewing him, I happened to ask him what's your other interest apart from studies and he without a micro second hesitation gave me an astonishing answer, Sir it's my " Amma first and then my Appa".

You know it's so difficult to handle your emotions when you get such straight answer from a 15 year old.. I am sure there is going to be more such wonderful kids out there whom we will enroll this year. I sincerely pray God bless team KKF with more time, energy and commitment to work with these kids and support them chase their dreams..

We will again meet this week end to freeze the conclusion plan and other verification process for us to announce the enrolled kids who will make it to be part of team KKF this academic year.. Well having said all the above, there are 02 students from our KKF enrolled list made all of us so proud with their scores last year.. Sheikh Mohammed scored 447/500 in his 10th Std and Ms Naga Bhavani scored 6.9/10 CABG points in her 1st year UG results. I could witness the moment of truth when they were honoured during the session. This feeling is very special and unique in many ways for me which I am not sure one May get it even if kids at home score good marks.. God bless ! Looking forward to yet another productive week end ahead.. Thank you, S Bala Aananth

"Sigaram Thodu 2018" event was truly amazing and excitement was at its peak which was evident with entire audience and the best part was to see the Judge acknowledging and appreciating all aspects of those kids who demonstrated their ability of seamless delivery of every point from the topic they chose to speak on. 7 minute was given to bombard the dias and auditorium, which they rightfully did so. Every applaud from audience certified the effort and time these kids spent on their preparation. Every speaker was unique in their own way of dialogue delivery and voice modulation and in being critic to the opposite teams point of challenge raised on them.. In a nut shell, it's awesome to watch these super kids roar one after another on the stage. I run short of words and feel completely blessed which one would feel after a being yourself fully. My sincere gratitude and heart felt thanks to all the dignitaries, speakers, Judge and a great audience who stood with us during the event for more than 3 hours.. All the speakers were awarded with a merit certificate and momento by the Judge, Arul Neri Navalar, Tamizh Chudar Dr. R. Maadhu who came down from Trichy to be part of us and grace the event. The judgement was delivered in favour of Vivasayam more then thozil nutpam.. We didnt miss out to have kids enrolled from KKF for the event and their pariticipation added more color and joy. We had a calm and pleasant guest of honour in Ms Sudha, who was part of us for the entire event. Alimghty blessings was abundant and we felt it when we had MJF. Ln. Dr Ruby R Manoharan sir, Dr Ravishankar sir and Dr P K Chandran sir to handover scholarships to deserving kids from KKF. All this wouldn't have been possible without support from both our leading ladies along with my dear friend Arun and Jai Sir. A special one to all our friends who volunteered to make event a Gala Success.
